90 Degree Eccentric Isometric Training
This scientifically-backed method diverges from conventional workouts by not only prioritizing muscle building but facilitates functional muscle building, resetting of the CNS, inflammation reduction, injury rehab & prevention, longevity of joints & ligaments, athletic performance and enhancing joint stability. The 90-degree & eccentric isometric training technique optimizes muscle activation by focusing on specific joint angles during both lengthening and shortening phases. This approach ensures efficiency and effectiveness in every session, setting it apart from traditional methods. In personalized 1-on-1 sessions, experience attention tailored to your unique needs.
Longevity of Joints & Ligaments and Reduced Inflammation
In the training world, inflammation in a joint, tendon, or ligament is what ultimately leads you down the road of dysfunction and toward the final destination of a sprain, pull, or tear of any surrounding joint/muscle. The implementation of 90 degree Eccentric Isometrics eliminates the use of excessive ROM that takes a toll on our joints, tendons, and ligaments that take away from our true muscle function. The use of 90 Degree Eccentric Isometrics promotes the longevity of our joints by taking the muscles that were previously pulling and tugging on our joints from the wrong angles and places them in the most optimal position for muscular contractions. What you will see is there is no need or benefit of therapeutic modalities like stretching, foam rolling, Theraguns, etc. They have no place or need when our body is functioning in its most optimal state.
Athletic Performace
Look at different sports. Most athletes, regardless of the sport, operate at 90-degree joint angles. By removing max depth, through excessive range of motion & focusing on an optimal depth and range of motion at 90 degrees, we maintain healthy joints free from aches and pains. Avoiding excessive or compromised ranges of motion, whether in sports or daily activities, ensures our joints, tendons, and ligaments remain inflammation-free and ready for action. Engaging in 90 Degree Eccentric Isometrics also ensures our body mechanics are solid, allowing our central nervous system (CNS) to fire optimally for quick and responsive results without any “neuromuscular knots”getting in the way of performance.
Functional Muscle Building & Resetting the CNS
Our central nervous system (CNS) subconsciously organizes body movements into familiar patterns we use daily. These patterns activate muscle groups collectively. By focusing on the "BIG 7" movements (Squat, hinge, lunge, Horizontal Push and Pull, Vertical Push and Pull) and not just individual muscles, we eliminate faulty patterns ingrained in our CNS from dysfunctional training and lifestyle choices. We then retrain the CNS with proper movement patterns and biomechanics using 90 Degree Eccentric Isometrics. This technique not only enhances muscle growth but also optimizes muscle activation through co-contraction of agonist and antagonist muscles.
Joint Stability and Injury Rehab & Prevention
We aim to heal injuries and prevent future problems by correcting poor mechanics. We use 90-degree eccentric isometrics, proper neuromuscular re-education, and focus on perfect postural alignment to reduce inflammation throughout the entire body. By applying maximal tension at 90 degrees, we create optimal agonist/antagonist co-contraction within our muscles and we create stability within our joints by recruiting all surrounding muscles.
